Special edition, hand painted alder wood earrings.

The Tlingit society is divided into two moieties (halves): the eagles and the ravens.  Balance is always maintained between the two. Together, they are called the lovebirds.

Tlingit Athabascan Artist Crystal Worl designed these earrings made of alder wood, with sterling silver ear wires and silicone nuts on the ear wires.  As a hunter and fisher woman, Crystal uses her art to explore her relationship with the land and her culture.

These earrings are laser cut alder wood and hand painted in Alaska.
